A match made in heaven. Who wants to leverage the power, and fun, of AI to build a few cannabis brands?
Interest in consumer facing AI platforms like ChatGPT and Bard have fallen off a bit, probably because schools are out of session and all those kids aren’t cheating on their essays anymore.
And isn’t that how it always goes, a new transformational technology comes along and captures the attention of the populace for awhile, media obsesses, defines the Zeitgeist even, and surely enough things slow down a little time passes and only the diehards are still tinkering?
Well, that’s us. For the past 6 months we’ve been exploring, experimenting, tweaking and engineering alongside a variety of both chat and visual design AI apps. To be honest, we remain in awe of these tools and see the paradigm shift that is coming. But it’s not going to be as simple as “Hey ChatGPT, can you please design me an award winning brand that will make me $10 billion dollars?” No, no, it certainly won’t be that.








People ask us if we think we’ll be out of jobs and if AI is going to replace designers, writers, photographers, product engineers, etc.
I guess our answer is, sure, we’ll probably lose some work to clients and partners that might try experimenting on their own. Change is inevitable and we’ve been around long enough to know that you flow with the change, stay in your grace, and adapt and evolve. You fight change, you’re gonna lose.
We’re not afraid. What we’re doing is investing in it.
Work that used to take us 4 months, and that we would charge our clients $40k or even $50k can be trimmed to half that time and even further in costs. But we’re also pretty sure that humans will always want to work with humans. You get what you pay for in this life. For those who know this is true, we’re the agency and set of humans for you.
And while we can, and have, been sitting back and playing around with our own ideas, it’s just not the same as working with outsiders. We work best when we’re collaborating, bringing in outside ideas, experts, passionate founders and entrepreneurs. New ideas, products, approaches is really what fires our engines.








Here’s what we’re looking for. A couple of teams to work with us to build some cannabis brands from the ground up, relying on AI to do the heavy lifting. We still want to lead these projects as we would a traditional brand engagement. We want to understand product, style, value and language. We want to see mission and marketplace positioning.
And what we’ll do is take our future partner on a ride THROUGH the AI tool universe. Soup to nuts? The whole thing should take about 2 weeks, with a couple of conferences mixed in. At the end, we expect we’ll have some pretty good brands built, perhaps not fully ready for market, but pretty far down the line. Who will own it? We don’t know.
What will we do with it? If anything? We don’t know, but we’ll cross that bridge when we get to it. Sometimes you’ve got to just trust the process. One good idea leads to another, and with the right people, and the right minds, with the right vision, answers we can’t see today are often the most rewarding.
